Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data we process, why we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.

Who we are

PrintingHub processes personal data in connection with quote requests, orders, payments, delivery, customer support, and use of the website.

For privacy questions or requests, you can contact us via info@printinghub.nl, by phone at 0684121010, or by post at Grootzeil 40, 1319 AS Almere, the Netherlands.

What data we process

Depending on your order or contact with us, we may process data such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, billing or delivery details, selected product options, order history, payment status, and correspondence with our support team.

When you upload artwork or files for printing, we may also process file names, file types, file sizes, storage paths, and the contents of the uploaded files themselves. Submitted artwork may include personal data if you place such information in the file.

Why we use this data

We use personal data to process orders, initiate and verify payments, link files to orders, organize production and delivery, send status updates, handle questions or complaints, and investigate misuse or technical issues.

We also use limited website and usage data to improve the operation, security, and performance of the website.

Legal bases

We process personal data where this is necessary for the performance of a contract, to comply with legal obligations, and where appropriate for legitimate interests such as running the business, securing the platform, preventing fraud, and improving service quality.

If a specific activity requires consent, such as certain non-essential tracking or marketing activities, that processing should only take place on the basis of valid consent.

Who we share data with

We only share personal data to the extent necessary for our services. This may include payment processing through Mollie, order and file storage through Supabase, email processing for order notifications, delivery partners where shipping is selected, and other technical providers supporting our platform.

We do not sell personal data. Data may be disclosed where necessary to perform a contract, respond to a lawful request, prevent fraud or abuse, or comply with a legal obligation.

Files, storage, and security

Uploaded files and order records are linked to your order and stored within our technical infrastructure. We aim to restrict access to what is reasonably necessary for order handling, support, and administration.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No system is entirely risk-free, but we seek to limit loss, misuse, and unauthorized access as far as reasonably possible.

Retention

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. The exact retention period depends on the type of data, the order status, any support or complaint process, and applicable legal or administrative retention duties.

Order and payment records may be retained longer for administrative, tax, evidential, and service purposes. Files used only for production and support should not be kept longer than reasonably necessary.

Cookies, analytics, and browser storage

The website uses functional browser storage and session storage to temporarily retain checkout information, support navigation between steps, and keep parts of the user experience working properly.

We also use analytics tooling on public pages to understand website usage and performance. If prior consent is legally required for certain analytics or tracking, that processing should be aligned with those requirements.

Your rights

You may ask us for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object, to the extent those rights apply to your situation under the GDPR. We may first ask for reasonable verification to confirm that the request is really coming from you.

If you believe we do not handle your personal data carefully, you can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Questions or updates

If you have privacy questions, requests, or comments, please contact us. This privacy policy may be updated from time to time if our services, processes, or legal obligations change.
