Terms & conditions

Below is a practical overview of the conditions for quotations, orders, custom print work, delivery, complaints, and liability. Mandatory law always takes precedence where applicable.

Applicability

These terms apply to quotations, online orders, supplied artwork or files, production, finishing, delivery, and related services provided by PrintingHub.

If mandatory consumer law or other non-excludable rules grant broader rights, those statutory rights prevail.

Quotes, pricing, and order acceptance

Price information and quotations are subject to obvious errors, technical issues, and incorrect input. An agreement is formed once we accept the order and payment or another agreed confirmation has been received.

We may refuse, pause, or cancel an order if information is incomplete, files are technically unsuitable, content appears unlawful, or a displayed price or product specification is clearly incorrect.

Specifications and customer files

You are responsible for the accuracy of selected options, quantities, sizes, finishing choices, delivery details, and the content of uploaded files. Please check text, bleed, trim margins, page order, and resolution before ordering.

Unless explicitly agreed in writing, a standard or automated file check does not amount to a full review of your content, legal compliance, or design.

Production, proofs, and tolerances

Production is based on the configuration you selected and the latest files you supplied. Changes after approval or after production has started may cause additional costs and delays and may no longer be possible.

Minor variations in color, trimming, folding, alignment, paper shade, material texture, and finishing are normal production tolerances within the print industry and do not automatically qualify as defects.

Lead times and delivery

Production times and delivery times are estimates only. Actual turnaround depends on file quality, chosen finishing, production capacity, material availability, and carrier performance.

If there is visible transport damage or an incomplete delivery, please record it upon receipt and report it to us as soon as possible.

Custom products, cancellations, and withdrawal

Most of our print work is produced to your specifications. For that reason, once production has started, an order usually cannot be changed or cancelled without costs.

The statutory right of withdrawal for distance sales will generally not apply to custom-made or clearly personalized products. If mandatory law grants additional rights in a specific case, those rights remain unaffected.

Complaints and inspection after receipt

Please inspect your order promptly after receipt. Visible defects, damage, or clear deviations should be reported within a reasonable time, preferably within 48 hours for transport damage and no later than 7 days for production complaints.

When reporting an issue, include your order details, a clear description, and photos where possible. Products should not be returned without prior instructions. Please contact us first.

Liability

If a complaint is justified, we will reasonably decide whether repair, reprint, a partial refund, or reimbursement is the appropriate remedy. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected part of the order or service to which the complaint relates.

This limitation does not affect any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under mandatory law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, missed deadlines, or damage resulting from incorrect or incomplete instructions, defective source files, or actions of third parties such as carriers.

Intellectual property and prohibited content

By submitting files, you confirm that you are entitled to use and reproduce them. You indemnify PrintingHub against third-party claims arising from infringement of copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.

We may refuse or stop an order if material appears unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, threatening, or otherwise unsuitable for production.

Force majeure, privacy, and governing law

We are not liable for delay or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages, machine failure, supplier issues, transport disruption, strikes, government measures, or failures of energy or network services.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Personal data is handled in line with our privacy policy. If you have questions about these terms, please contact us.
