An A3 poster measures 297 × 420 mm, or 29.7 × 42 cm. Its surface area is twice that of A4 and half that of A2. You can prepare the artwork in portrait or landscape orientation.
Use an A3 poster, for example, for opening hours at an entrance, a work instruction, a price list or a notice displayed on the inside of a window. The product link opens the configurator with A3 selected.
Choose from three A3 paper types
200 gsm satin gives colour blocks and photographs a subtle satin finish. 200 gsm matt has low reflection and keeps text and line work clear. 260 gsm premium satin provides a firmer, image-led result. These three poster papers are intended for indoor visual applications. Double-sided tape (4 strips) is available as an optional accessory.
Prepare your A3 file for print
- Final size: set up your artwork at 297 × 420 mm and check the required portrait or landscape orientation in the file.
- Safety margin: keep text and important elements at least 5 mm inside the cut line.
- File type: save the print file as a PDF where possible; other supported file types can be uploaded directly in the configurator.
- Resolution: supply your artwork at final size with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI for a sharp result.
- Colour profile: supply in CMYK for the most accurate colour reproduction.
