Photo poster: A3 as a starting point, not a restriction
This page opens the same poster configurator as the size pages, but with an image-led starting setup: A3 and 260 gsm premium satin. These are preselected choices, not a separate or fixed material-and-size contract.
Use this route, for example, for an indoor wall photograph, a portfolio presentation or an image for an event. If your main decision is the A3 format and you want to start with 200 gsm satin, use the separate A3 poster page.
Premium satin preselected for your photograph
260 gsm premium satin is a white, sturdy poster paper with a light satin sheen rather than a high-gloss surface. It is intended for image-led indoor applications. You can also choose 200 gsm satin for a subtle satin finish or 200 gsm matt when low reflection matters. None of these papers is intended for water exposure or long-term outdoor use.
Supply the photograph at the selected final size
- Final size: when starting with A3, set up the file at 297 × 420 mm. If you choose another size, adjust the document to that selected final size and set portrait or landscape orientation in the file.
- Safety margin: keep text and important image details at least 5 mm inside the cut line.
- File type: a print-ready PDF is the most predictable way to supply the artwork.
- Resolution: supply raster images at final size with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. For A3, exactly 300 DPI is approximately 3508 × 4961 pixels.
- Colour profile: supply the artwork in CMYK for the most accurate colour reproduction within the print process.

Is a photo poster a different product from an A3 poster?
No. The photo poster uses the same poster configurator but starts with A3 and 260 gsm premium satin. The A3 poster page also starts with A3, but with 200 gsm satin.
Can I choose another size or paper?
Yes. A3 and 260 gsm premium satin are preselected, not locked. In the configurator you can choose another available poster size or 200 gsm satin, 200 gsm matt or 260 gsm premium satin.
What is 260 gsm premium satin?
